With Expanded Data Centers and Communications Services, Chameleon Launches Hosting and Tech Services Business

Initially an internal service for clients, Chameleon has expanded its service offerings to be full-fledged I.T. host and service provider for its expanding client base.

Novi, Michigan - April 2, 2010 - Chameleon Power is expanding the "power" it provides to its clients, launching a full I.T. hosting and services business unit to exploit its robust data center and communications offerings. Known as a web software and services provider, Chameleon has decided to provide an expanded hosting and tech services offering to its current and future clients.

"Invariably, we end up hosting and servicing the technologies and solutions we provide to our building industry clients, so this expanded offering is a natural progression", said Dan Dempsey, Chameleon Power's CEO. "With the addition of many new and larger clients over the past few years, we needed to upgrade our data center and I.T. environment considerably. We added 100 Mbit communication pipes in our 15,000 square foot, natural gas powered data center, and with the other communications and systems upgrades it made sense for us to convert this internal capacity into another service offering."

Chameleon's clients have embraced the concept as an add-on to services already provided, and it has secured several new clients for this service, in and outside the building industry. Services offered include complete I.T. backup, Exchange hosting and archival, website hosting, remote desktop I.T. services, and other development level services including SQL Server and SharePoint. In addition, Chameleon is expanding its website development services offering beyond its core building industry clients.
