The original CD-based solution allowed consumers to visualize accurate paint colors applied to their homes and then order products directly from their local paint store. In 1999, the company shifted its focus to providing Internet solutions through the introduction of its web-based Chameleon rendering engine, the first ever visualization application built entirely for the Internet.
Chameleon rendering technology is utilized by many manufacturers, builders, remodelers, dealers, fabricators, distributors, designers, architects and consumers. Chameleon Powered web sites create virtual showrooms that provide a seamless connection between manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
Chameleon Power is a division of Chameleon Technologies group, a Novi, Michigan-based technology provider with 40 employees.
