FlooringVision, a Chameleon Power Company, Introduces New ImageMapper Software

ImageMapper technology allows builders to provide its customers with online design center for personalized visualization of home projects

(ORLANDO, Fla. – APRIL 4, 2006: COVERINGS, BOOTH #264) – FlooringVision, a Chameleon Power Company, introduces ImageMapper, a new software that allows users to preview what a variety of design and decoration options will look like in their actual room.  

Used in conjunction with the company’s BuilderVision, RemodelVision, FlooringVision and RoofingVision Web-based visualization design centers, ImageMapper helps market design options and upgrades by simplifying the materials selection process.

To use, designers or homeowners download the ImageMapper software from any of the participating Web sites, map a photograph or drawing of their project and upload the image to the appropriate Web site.  Participating Web sites include Chameleon Power-owned BuilderVision.com, RemodelVision.com, FlooringVision.com, CounterVision.com, RoofingVision.com, as well as manufacturer Web sites like Crossville Tile’s CrossvilleInc.com and Congoleum Corporation’s Congoleum.com.  

In just a few minutes, users map the image by tracing an outline of a floor or another part of a room and click the mouse on different product options to instantly see what they would look like in that room. Once the images are mapped and loaded, the user can decorate their project online with real products, save, print, enlarge and collaborate online.
