Exterior Portfolio by Crane's Chameleon-Powered Visualizer adds Image-Uploading Tool

Users get new perspective in home customization from ImageMapper Web

Novi, Michigan — Oct. 1, 2009 – Exterior Portfolio by Crane launched the new ImageMapper addition for its Exterior Portfolio Dream Designer Web-visualization tool today.  ImageMapper allows users to upload an image of their own home and prepare it for online decorating with the Dream Designer program. Dream Designer allows site visitors to customize the color and texture of their home’s roofing, siding, trim and door through advanced image-modification methods.

Both Dream Designer and the ImageMapper Web addition were created for Exterior Portfolio by Crane by Chameleon Power. Crane produces, markets and sells vinyl siding known for its superior workmanship, durability and performance.

“It’s exciting to hear how both homeowners and contractors are using and enjoying the Dream Designer. One remodeling company has even bragged about doubling their closing ratios after sending the homeowner a confirmation e-mail with a link to the Dream Designer. Exterior Portfolio by Crane had previously released a customized Chameleon-Powered Dream Designer edition with ImageMapper on disc exclusively to about 450 contractors. One progressive, multimillion-dollar re-siding company was able to double their closing ratio by using the contractor edition to collaborate with customers. The visualization tool was so well received, Crane was excited to offer the Dream Designer with ImageMapper to the public through its Web site, www.cranesiding.com.
