The Online Sikkens Visualizer allows homeowners to see Sikkens products and materials applied to
their home projects.
NOVI, Michigan, April 28, 2009 – Sikkens Wood Finishes, manufactured by Akzo Nobel Paints, LLC, has announced its new Web-based tool, "Color Your Home" Visualizer. The visualizer, developed by Chameleon Power, the leader in online visualization applications and solutions for the home-building and decorating industry, allows visitors to explore what different colors, textures and styles of the Sikkens product line would look like when applied to a home image. The Web-based visualizer is accessible from the Sikkens Web site (www.nam.sikkens.com). Select "Color Your Home" and start designing. Visitors can select from 30 different home exterior images and choose from siding, decking or garage and entry doors to start a project. Added features include Chameleon's patent-pending Web-based image upload tool, more commonly known as ImageMapper Web, which allows homeowners to upload and decorate their own home image. Once the image is uploaded, the user can decorate their project online with real Sikken products, save, print, enlarge and collaborate online.
