New tool allows
builders to simplify the selection process for home buyers
BuilderVision now offers builders a
resource that simplifies the selection process for home buyers by plugging the Product
Selector into the builder’s Web site and populating it with the products and
materials they supply. The Product Selector displays specific tabs that
represent specific locations, amenities and appliances. The customer can then
explore each tab and what the builder has to offer.
Then with the click of a button, the home
buyer can place a check next to the products and materials they prefer. The
home buyer can customize their new home without ever leaving their personal PC
to spend hours collaborating face-to-face with the builder.
“The Product Selector allows home buyers
the freedom to choose flooring materials, appliances, plumbing, paint,
cabinets; everything that makes a home complete,” said Dan Dempsey, CEO of

without the hassle of traveling.”
Once the selection process is complete, the
technology automatically creates a checklist file that the builder can output
for material order.
